Dollhouse Monster
The Dollhouse Monster was created as part of a personal video game project exploring the themes of guilt, memory, and psychological horror. The game takes place inside the protagonist’s mind, where his unresolved guilt manifests as physical nightmares the innocent toys of his children, once symbols of joy, have now twisted into monstrous reflections of his inner torment. This creature embodies the weight of remorse: a rotting humanoid form fused with a decaying dollhouse, its walls and wires merging with flesh and sinew. The design blends architectural structure with organic horror, representing how the home itself once safe and warm has become a prison of regret. The model was sculpted and textured to emphasize grotesque realism and symbolic storytelling, with a focus on material contrast: aged wood, decaying flesh, and parasitic tendrils that symbolize the psychological decay spreading within the character’s mind.
